Critical Stage Inspections

When carrying out Building works in NSW under a Development Application or Complying Development approval pathway, legislation requires inspections to be carried out at critical stages of construction.
By completing inspections during each stage of construction, issues and defects can be identified and resolved before it becomes too late and potentially costly. These inspections are to verify that the works at that stage are compliant with the Building Code of Australia (BCA), relevant Australian Standards and Development consent conditions, including consistency with Approved Plans.
Critical Stage Inspections includes:
Piers/Footings
After excavation and prior to the placement of concrete.
Slabs
Prior to the placement of concrete.
Framing
Prior to the covering of any framework for any floor, wall or roof framing.
Waterproofing
Prior to the covering of any waterproofing in any wet area.
Stormwater

POOL BARRIER INSPECTIONS
Our Accredited Certified Building Inspector will come to your home in any Greater Sydney suburb and inspect your pool barriers for compliance with the appropriate Standards.
Most swimming pool and/or spa owners want to know that their pool enclosure is compliant. If you are selling or leasing out your home with a pool or spa, you will need a qualified Inspector to carry out an inspection of the pool enclosure so that a Certificate of Compliance can be issued to you for inclusion in your Sales or Lease contract.
In NSW, a Swimming Pool Certificate of Compliance is a Certificate that can only be issued by an Accredited Certified Inspector after your Swimming Pool or Spa has been inspected and deemed to comply with the appropriate Australian Standard.
We can advise on what issues need to be rectified so you can easily satisfy all the legal requirements and receive pool certification approval.
If non-compliant you will be provided with a list of issues to fix.
You can then register your pool with full confidence that your pool safety barrier complies with the NSW pool safety standards.
